The planning area is located on the outskirts of the historic old town of the city of Parchim and can be reached via the streets Wallallee B 191/ B 321, Buchholzallee B 191 and Fischerdamm. Moltkeplatz is the entrance to the historic center Old town of the city of Parchim. The aim of the planned traffic engineering measure is to increase the traffic safety of all road users and the qualitative design of the traffic network. The redesign has taken into account the adjacent signaled junction Wallallee/Moltkeplatz/Putlitzer Straße/Buchholzallee, which is the responsibility of the Schwerin road construction authority. During the preliminary planning, several variants were developed to optimize traffic flows and eliminate the Accident site investigated. Due to the proximity to the intersection of Wallallee/Buchholzallee/Putlitzer Straße/Moltkeplatz, the solution of a roundabout was retained. HAOI service phases 1-2 have already been created on behalf of the city of Parchim.
