Tender Details

UNDP and the Ombudsman have signed Project No. 00115052- "Strengthening of the physical infrastructure of the Ombudsman through the construction, furnishing and equipping of the office building of the Headquarters of the institution in the National District, as well as by remodeling and equipping the building that will house one of theregional egation of the institution in Santo Domingo East and the acquisition, adaptation and equipment of a property in Santiago for the regional delegation North, Puerto Plata, La Romana, Barahona, Monte Plata, Hato Mayor, Sanchez Ramrez and Montecristi ", with the objective to strengthen the efficient functioning of the institution, ensuring good governance in the RDominican Republic, through themodernization and updating of the physical infrastructures that allow the fulfillment of the mission of safeguarding the fundamental rights of the people against the illegal or arbitrary actions or omissions of the public sector, of the private providers of public services and of collective and diffuse interests. PairTo achieve this objective, an Individual Contractoris required for the services detailed in these Terms of Reference, with the purpose of improving the quality and decentralizing the service of defense, education and promotion of fundamental rights, bringing this mechanism closer protection to all citizens.
