The Department of Education (DepED) Division of Ligao City intends to apply the sum of One Hundred Sixteen Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Pesos Only (Php 116, 250.00), being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to eligible payments under the contract for the Procurement of the Catering Service for 155 participants for the 3-day Orientation Workshop on the Operationalization of School Monitoring and Evaluation Adjustment (SMEA) on August 30 to Sept. 1, 2018 at the Division of Ligao City, Ligao City. Bids received that exceed the ABC per lot shall be rejected at bid opening.

Menu Requirements: Overflowing water & coffee must be available, caterer provides the venue.
Venue Requirements: with standby industrial generator, with laptop issued for facilitators- use, with breakout rooms and sound system per room, with splitter projector and complimentary room for training team-s accommodation.
The DepED Division of Ligao City, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), now invites bids for the above-mentioned services/work. Prospective bidders must have an experience of having completed at least one (1) contract that is similar to the contract to be bid, and whose value, adjusted to current prices using the NSO consumer price indices, must be at least fifty percent (50%) of the ABC to be bid. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II, Instructions to Bidders.
Bidding will be conducted through an open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184), otherwise known as the -œGovernment Procurement Reform Act-.
Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships/partnerships, or organizations with at least seventy five percent (75%) interests or outstanding capital stocks belonging to citizens of the Philippines.
A complete set of Bidding Documents may be inspected or purchased at the DepED Division of Ligao City, BAC Secretariat, located at DepEd New Division Office Building, Binatagan, Ligao City upon accomplishing a bidder-s information sheet and payment in cash of a non-refundable fee by interested bidders in the amount of Five Hundred Pesos (PhP 500.00) to the DepED Division Cashier. Only bidders who purchased the Bidding Documents will be allowed to submit bids (ITB 6.8).

Bids must be delivered to the address and on the date and time stated herein. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause. A valid Bid Securing Declaration must accompany the bid(s) in lieu of the bid security.
Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders- representatives who choose to attend the opening of bids at the address stated herein. Late bids shall not be accepted.
The DepED Division of Ligao City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, declare a failure of bidding, not award the contract(s), or annul the bidding process without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
