Description: The purpose of the public procurement is to carry out an environmental assessment (EC) of the National Waste Management Plan in the Republic of BULGARIA for the period 2021-2028 and, if necessary, following instructions from the competent environmental authority, to prepare a report on compatibility assessment (EC) as part of the EC. EC is carried out in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 6 of the Environmental Protection Act and the requirements of the Ordinance on the terms and conditions for carrying out environmental assessment of plans and programs.
The environmental assessment is a systematic process for assessing the environmental consequences of the proposed sectoral / plan / program, which form the planning framework for investment proposals at the earliest stage of decision-making.
