Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Carry out a Detailed Study of Stakeholders in the Water Sector in the Three (03) Priority Transboundary Basins Mentioned above and to Develop Relevant Training Programs.

Specific objectives
To identify all the major and secondary stakeholders involved in water resource management,
its use/exploitation or those engaged in activities likely to have a positive or negative impact on
the shared resource, and to involve them in the TDA and SAP development process. The
specific tasks to be carried out in the transboundary river basins of Cavally, Makona/Moa, Little
and Great Scarcies are mainly as follows:
? Carry out a detailed study of stakeholders in the water sector;
? Produce administrative, demographic and land use maps; coupled with the hydrographic
network for each national stretch of the basin and for the entire basin,
? Identify and analyze ongoing or planned projects and programs in the project area,
including links with the GEF Mano project;
? Identify the training needs of regional, national and local stakeholders involved in the
TDA and SAP development process;
? Develop a training program for beneficiary organizations, focusing on the methodology
adopted for the development of a TDA and SAP (GEF, IW:LEARN, 2013) including crosscutting
issues related to gender, climate change, etc.
