Call of Interest Manifestation 1984/19 "To provide the service of Equipment Provision, Operation and Maintenance of the Bicycle System (conventional and / or electric) and Scooters (Electric Skateboard) of shared use"
The Municipality of Guatemala, has within its planning of urban mobility, the integration of a system of Bicycles and Scooters (electric skateboard) of Shared Use, as an alternative and complementary system to the other means of transport, with the purpose of promoting the use of both means, increasing the intermodality of public transport. CoAs part of the implementation process of this Project, the first stage will begin in the sector called the Central Corridor of the municipality that includes zones 1, 2, 4, 9, 10, 13 and 14. In this first stage, it is estimated that Approximate requirement of 53 points of bicycle stations (with or without anchoring) and scooters distributed in radius no greater than 500 mand near the points of generation and attraction of trips. In these locations will be arranged between 10 and 20 bicycles and scooters, covering a linear distance of approximately 40 linear kilometers. The project has a coverage of 18.44 square kilometers.
