the following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
the correctional service canada has a requirement for offender paid television services at edmonton institution for women.
objectives: to provide a viable and balanced catv signal or equivalent throughout the institution up to 188 catv outlets at edmonton institution for women.
deliverables: edmonton institution for women has 188 cable drops. Csc requires that all drops be active at all times. Csc will provide a quarterly occupancy report for billing purposes. The quarterly report will identify the number of users as well as the common area feeds (i.e. 168 offenders + 20 common areas = 188 billable units. The contractor must provide viable television service to the outlets at edmonton institution for women with minimal interruptions of service.
