The Principal Tasman District Council is inviting tenders for Contract 1147 Waimea Bore Water Upgrade
The scope of the work is fully described in the attached tender document, and key items of work are:
• Laying approximately 1200m of 450mm diameter pressure water pipe close to the existing asbestos cement main (laid in 1973). This main is fed with raw water from 5 bores on the river side of a council stop bank.
• Working with Councils O&M Contractor to carry out the work and maintain a minimum water supply to the Waimea Water Treatment Plant.
• Working with a Council appointed electrical contractor to install the required electrical ducts.
