Description: The new conference, event and exhibition building "Confex®" is realized on the grounds of the Koelnmesse west of the existing hall 2. Together with the hall 1 (new construction), which has just been completed, the Confex® represents one of two new buildings, which completes the ensemble of exhibition halls and development structures to the west of the DB and the Rheinpark.
The planned new building consists of a large-scale steamed hall, on whose north, south and west side a multi-storey head construction is built. The building has a total length of approx. 138.50 m and a width of about 75.60 m.
Mainly the Confex® will be developed from the forecourt. A generous launch and an external lift guide from the exhibition on the Inlet Plateau, the so-called, table 'of the Confex®.
In parallel, the existing power generation East in the Confex® is set up a second refrigeration generation.
