Subject:-Triennial Term Contract for the Maintenance, Repair, Alterations and Additions of Electrical and Mechanical Installations at Hong Kong Wetland Park

Description:-The scope of the Works includes maintenance, repair, alterations and additions of electrical and mechanical installations at Hong Kong Wetland Park. The Contract is scheduled to commence in September 2019 for expiry in August 2022.

Contractors Invited to Tender:-Selective tendering is adopted. Contractors on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of "Air-conditioning Installation (Group II)", or joint ventures with participation of local and/or overseas contractors with the lead participant or the major shareholder being on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of "Air-conditioning Installation (Group II)" who also meet the following qualifications and other conditions for participation stipulated in the tender documents are invited to tender.

(1) The tenderer shall have completed maintenance and repair contracts for air-conditioning installation with a total aggregate contract value of not less than HK$7.2 million within the 5-year period immediately preceding the tender closing date specified in the Letter of Invitation to Tender regardless of any subsequent extension. In the case of a joint venture, only the lead participant or major shareholder is required to meet this minimum experience requirement; and

(2) The tenderer or the lead participant/major shareholder of the joint venture must be on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of "Air-conditioning Installation (Group II)".

Contractors not yet on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of "Air-conditioning Installation (Group II)" may also submit a tender if they submit a request for participation together with a duly completed application for inclusion in the above-mentioned approved list/category by 14 June 2019 to Mr. LAI Chun-yuen, General Engineering Services Division, 6th Floor, Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, 3 Kai Shing Street, Kowloon, Hong Kong, meet the qualifications and conditions for participation, and the application for inclusion is duly approved on or before the tender closing date. Contractors will be liable to have their names removed from the list of approved contractors if they fail or refuse to implement an accepted tender.
