Subject:-Triennial Term Contract for the Maintenance and Repair of Water Pumping Installations, Filtration Tanks and Electro-Chlorinators for Filtration Plants at Various Swimming Pool Complexes in New Territories for the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region

Description:-The scope of Works includes the maintenance and repair of water pumping installations, filtration tanks and electro-chlorinators for filtration plants at various swimming pool complexes in the New Territories. The Contract is scheduled to commence in November 2020 for expiry in October 2023.

Contractors Invited to Tender:-Selective tendering is adopted. Contractors on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of "Fountain Installation" or"Swimming Pool Water Treatment Installation" or confirmed contractors on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of "Mechanical Plant and Equipment Installation Group (II)" or joint ventures with participation of local and/or overseas contractors with the lead participant or the major shareholder being a contractor on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of "Fountain Installation" or"Swimming Pool Water Treatment Installation" or a confirmed contractor on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of "Mechanical Plant and Equipment Installation Group (II)" who also meet the qualifications and conditions for participation stipulated in the tender documents are invited to tender.

Contractors not yet on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of "Fountain Installation", "Swimming Pool Water Treatment Installation" or "Mechanical Plant and Equipment Installation Group (II)" may also submit a tender if they submit a request for participation together with a duly completed application for inclusion in the above-mentioned approved list/category by 23 June 2020 to Mr LI Yin-lok, Municipal Sector Division, Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, 6th Floor, 3 Kai Shing Street, Kowloon, Hong Kong, meet the qualifications and conditions for participation, and the application for inclusion is duly approved on or before the tender closing date.
