Subject:-Quadrennial Term Contract for Maintenance of Lift and Ramp System of Government Ferry Pier

Description:-The scope of the Works includes annual survey, maintenance service and maintenance works for the lift and ramp system and its associated building services system at Government Ferry Pier in the territory. The Contract is scheduled to commence in November 2019 for expiry in November 2023.

Contractors Invited to Tender:-Selective tendering is adopted. Confirmed contractors on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of "Mechanical Plant and Equipment Installation" and "Mechanical Handling and Lifting Installation", or joint ventures with participation of local and/or overseas contractors with the lead participant or the major shareholder being a confirmed contractor on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of "Mechanical Plant and Equipment Installation" and "Mechanical Handling and Lifting Installation" who also meet the qualifications and other conditions for participation stipulated in the tender documents are invited to tender.

Contractors not yet on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of "Mechanical Plant and Equipment Installation" or "Mechanical Handling and Lifting Installation" may also submit a tender if they submit a request for participation together with a duly completed application for inclusion in the above-mentioned approved list/category by 16 August 2019 to Mr. KO Yu-hin, Boundary Crossing Facilities and Transport Services Division, Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, 3 Kai Shing Street, Kowloon, Hong Kong, meet the qualifications and conditions for participation, and the application for inclusion is duly approved on or before the tender closing date. Contractors will be liable to have their names removed from the list of approved contractors if they fail or refuse to implement an accepted tender.
