Subject:-Biennial Term Contract for Maintenance of Medical Gas Pipeline Systems for Health Sector Venues.

Description:-The scope of the Works includes comprehensive maintenance and repair, alteration, addition and improvement works for medical gas pipeline systems in various hospitals and healthcare premises of Hospital Authority and the Prince Philip Dental Hospital. The Works are scheduled to commence in 1 February 2020 for expiry in 31 January 2022.

Contractors Invited to Tender:-Selective tendering is adopted. Confirmed Contractors on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of "Steam and Compressed Air Installation" or joint ventures with participation of local and/or overseas contractors with the lead participant or the major shareholder being a confirmed contractor on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of "Steam and Compressed Air Installation" who also meet the qualifications and conditions for participation stipulated in the tender documents are invited to tender.

Contractors not yet on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of "Steam and Compressed Air Installation" may also submit a tender if they submit a request for participation together with a duly completed application for inclusion in the above-mentioned approved list/category by 18 October 2019 to Mr. CHAN Cheuk-yiu, Health Sector Division, 6th Floor, Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, 3 Kai Shing Street, Kowloon, Hong Kong, meet the qualifications and conditions for participation, and the application for inclusion is duly approved on or before the tender closing date. Contractors will be liable to have their names removed from the approved list(s) if they fail or refuse to implement an accepted tender.
