Subject:-Air Conditioning System Replacement and CCMS Upgrade at Princess Margaret Hospital
Description:-The scope of the Works includes replacement of five (5) units of water-cooled chiller, four (4) units of cooling tower, eleven (11) units of air-cooled chiller, twenty (20) sets of chilled water pump, seven (7) sets of condensing water pump, four (4) sets of heat recovery pump and associated installations, upgrading of the Central Control and Monitoring System at Princess Margaret Hospital. The works is scheduled to commence in September 2019 for completion in March 2022.
Contractors Invited to Tender:-Selective tendering is adopted. Confirmed contractor on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of "Air-conditioning Installation (Group II)", who also meet the qualifications and conditions for participation stipulated in the tender documents, are invited to tender.
Contractor will be liable to have their names removed from the approved list if they fail or refuse to implement an accepted tender.
Remarks:-1. This tender is not covered by the Agreement on Government Procurement of the World Trade Organization.
2. A charge will be levied for delivery of tender documents where the delivery of tender documents is requested by a tenderer. A written request must be made.
3. The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region does not bind itself to accept any tender irrespective of whether the tender is the lowest bid or, where the assessment of the tenders is based on a marking scheme or formula approach, the tender has the highest overall score.
4. The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region reserves the right to negotiate with any tenderer about the terms of the offer.
