Expression of Interest are invited for Blue Economy Baseline Assessment in Jamaica.

The Objective of This Assignment Is to Conduct the Baseline Blue Economy Assessment in Jamaica, Including: (1) the Identification of Data, Research and Capacity (including Expertise) Gaps that Are Hampering the Blue Economy Investments; (2) an Assessment of The National Regulatory, Institutional, Technological and Cultural Landscapes Barriers, Pressures and Drivers that Are Hampering Blue Economy Growth. the Assessment Should Also Include Gender Specific Aspects and An Analysis Relevant to The Sector, in The Form of Separate Chapters; (3)the Identification of Preliminary Options/potential Priority Areas and Recommendations to Address the Identified Gaps and Challenges Across Above Referred Areas and Foster Blue Economy Growth in Jamaica. All the Options and Recommendations Will Incorporate Consideration of Economic, Social, Cultural, and Environmental Needs, Including Ensuring Preservation and Conservation of Marine Resources.
