the corporation of the city of sault ste. marie is accepting proposals for a pilot project encompassing the design, supply, installation and operation of a bike share system, to be located at designated locations throughout the city. this pilot project is anticipated to run for one (1) approximately six-month season commencing may 1, 2019.

bike sharing services are viewed as an important new component of the city of sault ste. marie's active transportation infrastructure. new infrastructure is essential to the city's

growth, economic development, citizen safety and quality of life. a bike share system will assist in providing mobility choices for residents and visitors to sault ste. marie.
