It s based on Individual Placement Support, a "place then train" approach that s shown to be twice as effective as traditional approaches. We began offering support to customers in South Yorkshire and Derbyshire in January 2017, with teams of employment-focused coaches co-located in statutory services or in community groups serving the region s most deprived areas, and where there is greatest need.
