Tender Details

To protect our native wildlife the Department of Conservation (DOC) has implemented the "Battle for our Birds" (BfoB) pest control programme. The key objectives of the programme are to:

• prevent any local extinction of New Zealand's most vulnerable species;

• minimise predator damage to our most valuable ecosystems; and

• improve efficacy and efficiency of pest management to control rodents, mustelids and possums.



The objective of this procurement is to establish a nationwide panel of appropriately experienced and accredited suppliers to provide security services in support of the BfoB programme who can deliver security services for scheduled operations as and when required.
