Tender Details

Expression of Interest are invited for Basrah Gas Company Financial Model Audit.

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is contemplating providing debt financing to Basrah Gas Company (BGC), an Iraqi midstream natural gas company that captures, treats, and processes associated gas that would otherwise be flared. IFCs proposed financing of BGC consists of a five-year debt facility based on the principles of pre-export finance of up to US$400 million, of which US$200 million will be for IFCs own account and US$200 million will be mobilized from third-party lenders. Proceeds from IFC and other senior lenders will be used to increase BGCs capacity from 1 billion standard cubic feet per day (Bcsfd) to 1.4 Bscfd and related infrastructure expansions and rehabilitations. In relation to the contemplated financing of BGC, IFC is developing a financial model that may be used by BGC and the senior lenders for the purposes of conducting financial analyses. In connection with the development of the model, IFC now seeks to engage an independent model auditor to provide model review services.
