Title: General Procurement Notice Sector: Agriculture / Livestock / Environment /Food security Financing IDB N pMRT0081, ISTISNA`A N 2 MAU 154 and ISTISNA`A DECLARATION OF JEDDAH n 2 MAU 153 of 15 May 2015 1. The Government of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania has received funding from the Islamic Development Bank ( IDB), in order to finance the cost of the ProDevelopment of Resilience to Food and Nutrition Insecurity in the Sahel in Mauritania (PDRIANSM) project. The project is co-financed by the IDB and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania for 21, 730 (Twenty-one million seven hundred and thirty US dollars). FundingIDB will be carried out through three modes that will be used concurrently: (a) An ordinary loan of 4, 810 (four million eight hundred and ten US dollars); (b) An Istisna`a loan in the amount of 5, 370 Five million Three hundred and seventy US dollars; (c) A loan Istisna`a declaration dJeddah in the amount of 6, 870 (Six million eight hundred and seventy US dollars). Financing of the Mauritanian RI in the amount of 4, 680 (four million six hundred and eighty US dollars) The objective of the project is to fix the livelihoods of the rural population targeted, develop theirthe ability to adapt to climate change and to help decision-makers to have the information they need to control the food crisis. The project will assist in particular: (i) the development of rainwater conservation and small irrigation infrastructure; (ii) in support of the mechanicregional strategy for the forecasting, management and prevention of the food crisis; (iii) the contribution to the creation of a regional food reserve by increasing the information system for the effective management of disasters, (iv) the protection of the means of subsistencethis is one of the most vulnerable households, and (ivi) to strengthen the resilience of pastoralists, agro-pastoralists and farmers in the Senegal River Valley and agropastoral areas.
