Request for proposals are invited for Assessment of The Impacts of Climate Change on Human Health, Food Security and Nutrition in Mongolia.

The scope of work involves;
A) Analysis of existing public health policies and programs from climate change and health perspective, provide updated information on emergency preparedness, disease surveillance, adaptation and resilience measures,
B) Identification of climate-related health risks in Mongolia. Including, but not limited to: illnesses resulting from extreme heat/cold; injuries and death; zoonotic, vector-, water- and food-borne diseases; respiratory diseases and asthma; nutrition; and, mental and neurological disorders.
C) Analysis of trends in exposure to climate-related hazards and health impacts including historical data and at least two climate change scenarios
D) Assessment of risks according to location and population and identify the most vulnerable geographies and populations (consider disaggregated data).
E) Identification of appropriate adaptation options including national needs and priorities to reduce the negative impacts of climate change, including capacity needs to respond to climate change
