The NextGen Greenhouse will be built in the same location of the existing Teaching Greenhouse (At the Daniel J Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake), reusing as much of the existing concrete pad as possible, with a slight expansion to the South, as to not impede on the Niagara Escarpment views from Benchmark restaurant. The approximate size of the new greenhouse space will be 21, 500sq.ft. (20, 000sq.ft greenhouse and 1, 500sq.ft corridor), replacing the existing 16, 000sq.ft. greenhouse space.
