Description: The school building, type "Erfurt II" (GDR prefabricated prefabricated concrete construction), was rebuilt between 1997 and 1999 according to the ideas and the concept of the artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser. The existing building is currently used as a school building for the Luther Melanchthon grammar school "Haus Luther" in 06886 Lutherstadt Wittenberg.
Classes are held in 42 general classrooms.
The aim is to adapt the infrastructure of the data network and the accompanying cabling (high-voltage current) to the requirements in accordance with the IT concept of the Wittenberg district, as well as to replace the house alarm system, ELA, EMA / video, and convert the hallway and safety lighting to LED technology .
