World Learning-s Leaders for Democracy Fellowship (LDF) Program invites submission of quotations from Travel Agencies interested in and able to provide exemplary customer service and detailed communication booking international flights for participants traveling under the auspices of U.S. Government-funded programs.

World Learning is a nonprofit international development and exchange organization that is responsible to its primary funders (U.S. Department of State and U.S. Agency for International Development) for procuring and booking flights for international participants funded under U.S. Government grants and contracts.

World Learning reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities and informalities in the submission process.

World Learning-s acceptance of quotations will not bind World Learning to purchase a minimum amount of services from the Vendor. Rather, World Learning intends to confer Preferred Vendor status with the selected Vendor and to enter a Basic Purchasing Agreement with the Vendor.

World Learning-s Leaders for Democracy fellowship program is a U.S. Department of State-s U.S.-Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI), funded program that provides early- and mid-career professionals from across MENA with the opportunity to gain academic and practical experience in leadership training and leadership development, network with like-minded peers and professionals, and build on skills in conflict resolution, participatory governance and communication. Fellows engage in internships at non-governmental, or public policy organizations in Washington, D.C., and Beirut giving Fellows both theoretical and practical experiences and understanding of the interactions between government and civil society, while also gaining valuable knowledge, skills, and professional contacts to benefit their professional pursuits in their home countries.
