Tender Details
Te Hurihanganui is a kaupapa that will address racism, strengthen equity, and accelerate the educational achievement and wellbeing of ākonga Māori and their whānau in the education system. The kaupapa is being tested over three years across six communities (this includes ākonga, whānau, hapū, iwi and clusters of schools and early learning services).
We require an Evaluation Partner for three years to undertake a critical, kaupapa Māori evaluation that will inform ongoing improvements to Te Hurihanganui and the wider education system. In essence, the evaluation will ask, `what is the value and effectiveness of Te Hurihanganui in addressing racism and achieving equity and wellbeing for ākonga Māori and their whānau?` and `how could Te Hurihanganui inform system transformation and performance for ākonga Māori and their whānau?`.
We want a team who can work with the multiple audiences involved in this evaluation, from the communities themselves, to the Ministry of Education. Working with those audiences, the Evaluation Partner will initially build an evaluation framework and plan, then implement the evaluation accordingly.
