General Procurement Notice for Acquisition of Office Furniture for the Benefit of the City of Cotonou.

GENERAL NOTICE OF AWARD OF CONTRACTS

1. The Republic of Benin has received from the African Development Bank Group, a loan in the amount of sixty-one million euros (61, 000, 000 EUR) to finance the Rainwater Sanitation Program Support Project of the city of Cotonou (PAPC) and the Agency for the Living Environment for the Development of the Territory (ACVDT) placed under the supervision of the Presidency of the Republic of Benin is the Executing Agency. The Project is part of an initiative of the Republic of Benin for rainwater sanitation in the city of Cotonou, which aims to reduce the vulnerability of populations facing floods, to promote the achievement of socio-economic infrastructure and launch the economic development of Benin.

2. The specific objectives are to: (i) build 46, 000 ml of collectors; ; (ii) the construction of 90, 000 ml of secondary collectors and lateral street gutters; (iii) development and paving of 49, 000 ml of streets); (iv) the development of 7 retention basins; (v) the acquisition of equipment for the collection of solid waste; (vi) reconstruction and equipping of the school for the deaf; (vii) reconstruction and equipping of the public primary school in Vedoko2; (viii) reconstruction and laboratory equipment such as a community health center.

3. The project has the following two (2) components:

Component A: Construction of resilient drainage and related infrastructure

Component B: Institutional support, communication and capacity building
