BACKGROUNDThe Project "Support for Food Production by Family Farming" is implemented by the Vice Ministry of Agriculture (VMA) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, with support from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), with the purpose of to contribute to the reduction of rural poverty and the improvement of the quality of lifeof selected families of Family Farming, supporting them with technical assistance and the provision of certain basic inputs for the implementation of productive and social micro-projects oriented to the production of food for consumption and the market, as well as to improve the conditions of their environment or housing, under conditions of sustainabilitysocioeconomic and environmental. Families of Family Farming that have small agricultural properties involved in the Pilot Project called: MODERNIZATION OF FARM FAMILY FARMING THROUGH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PRECISION AGRICULTURE SYSTEM will be beneficiaries of the Project. The beneficiary families will receive doses of corrective of slofts with phosphorus, sulfur and calcium content that are deficient nutrients in the regions and in the soils that support the crops of family farming according to diagnoses of soil fertility carried out in the Family Farming of the Eastern Region. They will be applied by variable dose of application according to the need of each plot included inthis project.
