Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Acquisition of Books for Biomedical Engineering, E-Health & Rehabilitation and Mobility Sciences Laboratories.

1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in UNDB online and on the African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website.

2. The Government of Rwanda has received funds from the African Development Bank (AfDB) towards the cost of Regional Centre of Excellence in Biomedical Engineering and eHealth (CEBE) Project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Acquisition of Books for Biomedical engineering, E-health & Rehabilitation and Mobility sciences laboratories.

3. The University of Rwanda now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of Acquisition of Books for Biomedical engineering, E-health & Rehabilitation and Mobility sciences laboratories.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office of UR SPIU Procurement office at Kicukiro campus P.O Box 4285 Kigali or on email to cebeprojectprocurement@gmail.com with a copy to cebeprojectcoordinator@gmail.com.

5. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 20, 000 Rwf or 25 USD. This payment can be made to the RRA Accounts (RRA/NON-FISCAL REVENU) opened in all different commercial banks.

6. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document: Procurement of Goods.

7. Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 10.00 a.m Kigali hour / 8.00 a.m GMT on April 15th, 2019 and must be accompanied by a security issued by a recognized bank of Frw 2, 600, 000 (or 3, 000 USD).

8. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at April 15th, 2019 at 10.30 a.m Kigali Hour (8.30 a.m GMT) at the offices of UR SPIU Office at Kicukiro Campus.
