Description : UN Women NCO is seeking the service of a research agency to conduct a perception study in seven UN Women programme districts (Sunsari, Rautahat, Kavre, Nawalparasi, Banke, Bajura and Kailali) focusing on relevant norms and practices that have hindered the advancement of gender equality and women's empowerment. The perception study also aims to identify factors and conditions which the community sees helpful to challenge these norms and practices. Outcome of the study will inform NCO about perceptions of the communities on the existing norms and practices. It will also generate recommendations and benchmark indicators that will serve as baseline data for UN Women's ongoing and future programme interventions. The findings of the study will also inform NCO to design future programmes.
