Synopsis: The Oklahoma City Veterans Affairs Health Care System Research Department in support of VA Merit Award research needs equipment that will support both the epigenetic analyses of a project as well as the biochemical analyses examining methylation and hydroxymethylation machinery. Oklahoma City VA HCS requires the purchase of a ChemiDoc MP Imaging Instrument to include:ChemiDoc MP Imaging Instrument configured as follows:ChemiDoc MP Imaging Instrument- catalog number 12003154Image Lab Software- catalog number 1709690Precision Plus Protein All Blue Standards- catalog number 1610373Clarity Western ECL Subs, 200 ml- catalog number 1705060Clarity Max ECL Substrate, 100ml- catalog number 1705062White Sample Tray WDT- catalog number 12003026Blue Sample Tray WDT- catalog number 12003027Installation will be performed by properly trained and/or certified personnel of contractor and will include equipment calibration and training for five research employees. Contractor will ensure correct equipment assembly in accordance with manufacturer specifications; ensure calibration of all equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications; and ensure training conducted is in compliance with manufacturer specifications.This is a Sources Sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (large business, small business, 8(a), SDVOSB, etc.), relative to NAICS code 334516. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Based on responses to this synopsis, the Government may issue this RFQ as a Brand Name or Equal requirement in accordance with VAAR Clause 852.211-73 on eBuy or Fed Biz Ops. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement and who is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller of all the items listed above, may submit a capability statement to the contracting office than no later than Thursday, August 29, 2019 4:00 PM EST.
