Description : The contracting authority intends to enter into a framework agreement with a strategic collaboration partner with responsibility for maintenance of and upgrades to the Nansen class in its lifetime at the tenderer's own location. The aim of the framework agreement is to ensure technically available frigates for the Navy. The strategic collaboration partner will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of activities connected to main overhauling of the frigates, including both the Norwegian Defence's own deliveries and deliveries from existing and future suppliers for the Norwegian Defence.
Main overhauling means activities connected to the classification (main maintenance) of the vessels, as well as other planned maintenance and upgrading activities that are carried out in parallel.
