CONTEXT AND JUSTIFICATIONIn the framework of the Support Program for Decentralization and ResilienceCommunity (PADRC) UNDP Madagascar will want to initiate a new approach to localization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The main objective of this approach is to strengthen the capacities of local and regional authorities, across the regions, to be able to define inclusive local policies fromthe expression of the needs of the populations and to implement them with real capacities of control of work. This initiative will not only promote an integrated, inclusive and sustainable territorial development but will also reinforce the regional and local anchor of the SDGs.
