Violence against women and girls (VCMN) in Latin America and the Caribbean is a serious and persistent problem that affects public health and compromises the physical autonomy of women and girls. The VCMN is also a brake on development, given the human, social and economic costs it imposes on women, their children, communities and society.stado This violation of humanrights has been recognized in international and national legislation, the region has advanced in the design of public policies to eradicate violence against women, but there are still challenges. The UNDP Regional Center requires the establishment of a Pre-approved Roster in order to have a list of experts to provideconsulting services on gender issues in order to benefit their Projects and Field Offices that may require these services throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. The proposal must be submitted in Spanish, making reference in the mail subject to the process 15132 RSC 2018 - Pre-Approved Roster in Violence Against Women and Childrenas, Femicide / Feminicide and must be received by means of the email described belowbefore April 30, 2019 at 15:00 (UCT / GMT -5), time of the Republic of Panama. Proposals submitted after the date and time indicated will not be accepted.
