Tender Details

The airforce space command is requesting industry's feedback and recommendations on the draft performance work statement (pws) (attachment 1) for the u.s. Navy's comsatcom to acquire worldwide commercial telecommunications services, to include satellite capacity in c, ku, ka, and/or x-band, for mobile and fixed satellite transceivers on maritime, airborne, and ground platforms, as well as commercial teleport services, backhaul connectivity, monitoring and control, and operations.

This will be a competitive acquisition, and will be awarded as a single award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract. The period of performance is anticipated to initiate in july 2021 with a total period of performance of five years.

The draft pws is being issued to broaden the government's understanding of industry capabilities to further improve and enhance the government's ability to acquire satellite services based on changing technology and dynamics in the industry.
