Synopsis: The Federal Bureau of Prisons Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Vocational Training in Welding, HVAC, and Green Energy for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Complex Florence, CO, located in Florence, CO. The training should be provided by an accredited college leading to transferable credits or certification. It is anticipated that this RFQ will result in the award of a single contract. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous offer to the Government. The estimated number of sessions for Welding and HVAC VT is 10 student tuitions per year, and for the Green Energy approximately 400 hours of instruction per year. A schedule will be determined between the Education Supervisor and the contractor after award. The contract period shall consist of one 12-month base year and four 12 month option periods for renewal. All other qualifications and requirements will be detailed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on or about November 15, 2019 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website.
