THIS IS NOT A BIDThe Department of Financial Services, Division of Risk Management, needs to obtain database analysis services in order to comply with sections 440.13(12) F.S. establishes the Medi-Span Master Drug Database (Database) as the basis for the average wholesale price calculation used to determine reimbursement amounts for prescription medications. The Database is a proprietary product only available from Wolters Kluwer Clinical Drug Information, Inc. (WKCDI). Medi-Span Price Rx is a drug cost analysis software that analyzes data within the Database. The Division will utilize Medi-Span Price Rx for monthly and quarterly pricing audits of its PBM contractor.Prospective vendors who believe they can provide these services shall provide relevant information no later than June 12, 2019 at 1:00 PM (ET).If it is determined in writing by the Department, after reviewing any information from prospective vendors, that the services are available only from a single source, the Department will post on the Vendor Bid System, notice of its intended decision to enter into an agreement with said vendor pursuant to Section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes.Please see the attached PUR 7776 form for additional information.
