Commodity: 81101706 Laboratory equipment maintenance

The Departments of Health s Bureau of Public Health Laboratories has the need to purchase maintenance and technical support of the state owned 7500FAST DX analytical instruments located at the Jacksonville, Miami and Tampa Laboratories. These instruments are utilized for Bioterrorism, Influenza, West Nile and Mycobacterium Tuberculosis testing for the BPHL. In accordance to Chapter 60A-1.45, Florida Administrative Code the Bureau of Public Health Laboratories (BPHL), requests sole source authorization to purchase maintenance and technical support of the existing analytical instruments from Life Technologies/Thermo Fisher.
