this is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in far sub part 12.6-streamlined procedures fir evaluation and solicitation for commercial items-as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation document will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued using simplified acquisition procedures under the authority of far 13.5, simplified procedures for certain commercial items.
This solicitation is a request for quotation (rfq). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through federal acquisition circular (fac) 2005-101/10-26-2018.
The national institute for standards and technology (nist) radio frequency fields group has a requirement for an 8-channel digitizer system. This 8-channel digitizer system is needed to support us industry by developing 5g technology for millimeter wave channel measurements and models. This station must meet the technical specifications as listed in this rfq.
This request for quotation (rfq) is conducted under the authority of far part 13, simplified acquisition procedures with a naics code of 334515-instrument manufacturing for measuring and testing electricity and electrical signals with a small business size standard of 750. This acquisition is full and open. Nist anticipates, to award a single, firm-fixed price purchase order. All vendors shall provide a firm-fixed price quotation in accordance with the instructions to offerors. All communications and documents must include the solicitation number nb673000-19-02283.
