U.S Navy awards Manitex International $30 - 45 million contract for specialized military equipment Transport and Related Services

Manitex Liftking, a subsidiary of Manitex International, Inc. (MNTX), a dominant worldwide provider of cranes and customized material and container handling equipment has been awarded its third military contract for customized military specification equipment from the US Navy for orders worth around $30 -$45 million over the next five years.

Identical to the earlier orders from the Navy, this lift-truck will need some engineering and custom specifications, and a comprehensive performance testing protocol, consisting EMI and Hi-Shock testing, and the timeline for first supplies is scheduled as either late 2015 or early 2016. Manitex also received firm orders for around $4.7 million, along with the contract, that will be additive to our order book. This recent award from the US Navy adds up the worth of contracts for deliveries in the next five years procured by Manitex Liftking in the last fourteen months for six different truck models with a range of $75 to $125 million in total value.
