Qatar Development Fund (QFD) signed an agreement with the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and the Ministry of Energy and Hydraulics of the Republic of Guinea, Conkry, to finance several development projects in the rural areas of the country with an amount of US $ 20 million. The project aims to rehabilitate a number of dirt roads in rural areas with a length of 866 km in 17 states. In addition to the construction of three bridges crossing the length of 395 meters. The project will facilitate the mobility of the population to reach their daily work, which will create new jobs in the market and stimulate the economy in the country. It will also contribute to the transportation of goods faster and in better conditions. The project will also drill 5000 water wells with running water pumps On solar energy, as well as the construction of water reservoirs in seven rural administrative areas. This project will play a role in ensuring a decent life for the people of the region. These projects are part of Qatar Development Fund's interest in long-term development projects. These projects will ensure that the current population and future generations have a decent and stable life and will contribute to enhancing security.
