The Government grants 11 million for the insertion of more vulnerable people Other Services

The Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Function of the Government of Spain has resolved the call for 2018 of European Social Fund grants destined to local entities for the insertion of the most vulnerable people, as the Official State Gazette now records. The grants, foreseen in the Operational Program of Employment, Training and Education, are granted to the municipalities that presented inclusive projects for the groups that have greater difficulties in finding a job: people with different disabilities, long-term unemployed over 45 years, young people and population of immigrant origin. After the deadline for submitting applications, and once the admissibility requirements of the 123 projects presented at national level have been verified, the aforementioned grants have been granted, which in Almeria will reach almost 11 million euros.

In this province have been selected projects "Employment for all and all", presented by the City of Roquetas and "Almeria T-Integra with Employment" of the City of Almeria. In the first case, the amount of the project presented was 3,788,631 euros and a grant from the European Social Fund of 3,030,905 euros. In the second case, the consistory of the capital presented a project worth 9,956,425 euros and the ESF aid was 7,965,140 euros. Both municipalities are within the category of region 2 C, regions in transition financed at 80%, among which are Andalusia, Murcia and Castilla-La Mancha. On the other hand, the project "Training and Employment in Almería FOREMA" presented by the Diputación de Almería for an amount of 1,173,875 euros has remained in reserve as other 37 projects presented at national level (in the case of the Almeria institution, in position 32 of 37). The reserve, as explained in the BOE, occurs when the available credit of the call has been exhausted.
