Bid Description: The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites tenders for the provision of a Toll Traffic Monitoring service

Special Conditions:
The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited is committed to transformation, employment equity and staff advancement, and supporting broad based black economic empowerment. Only tenders with a B-BBEE contributor status level between 1 and 4, are eligible to tender for Schedules A and B. Schedule C will be reserved for EME’s or QSE’s with a BBBEE contributor status level between 1 and 4.

It is a requirement of this project that the successful tenderers for Schedules A and B subcontract a minimum of thirty percent (30%) of the work to EME’s or QSE’s with a BBBEE contributor status between 1 and 4. In the event that the successful tenderer’s offer for Schedule C exceeds the PPPFA regulations regarding subcontracting applicable at close of tender, such tenderer shall be subject to subcontracting as per the said regulations at tender close.

Please take note that this will be a two envelope system. The primary criteria in selection, apart from cost, will be the results in the system assessment compliance matrix as well as the tenderer’s BBBEE ranking as required in the industry specific charter for this tender.
