Iraqi Qatari businessmen, HE the Minister of Commerce and Industry witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Qatar Polymer Industrial Company and Al Qawas Real Estate Investment Company Limited.

The forum was attended by a number of businessmen and investors and the heads and representatives of major Qatari and Iraqi companies specialized in various fields.

During the event, bilateral meetings were held between businessmen from both sides in order to highlight the investment opportunities available in the State of Qatar and the Republic of Iraq and to discuss ways of building mechanisms of long-term economic cooperation between the two countries.

It is noteworthy that the first forum for Qatari businessmen to Iraq aims to enhance trade, investment and industrial cooperation between the two sides and open prospects for communication between representatives of the private sector of Qatar and Iraq to establish investment projects that serve the interests of both countries.
