Al-Asmakh Real Estate Projects Company said that the State is working on 55 projects in its infrastructure projects during the current year 9102. A budget of 8.81 billion riyals has been allocated for these projects. The report said that the government spending rate is one of the most important factors leading to the growth of the real estate sector, pointing to the existence of strong competition in the real estate sector in Qatar because of the huge amounts of money injected into infrastructure projects related to development projects.

The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) is currently implementing 41 projects to serve 61,000 housing units at a total cost of Rls 5.6 billion in ten different regions, including South Al Wakir, Kharittiyat, Azghwa, Labib, North Nasiriyah, Mashaf and Maither.

The report pointed out that the infrastructure projects are distributed in 21 areas to serve 801.51 plots of land, of which 1,800 are in the areas of new citizens' lands.
