Implementation of the solar energy project at the university Power and Energy

Karak - President of Mu'tah University Dr. Zafer Sarayra, the executive team to oversee the implementation of the solar energy project at the university, which is composed of the executing company and the members of the supervising team from the university faculty members and employees of the university, to complete the project efficiently and in record time.

Dr. Al-Sarayra thanked all those who contributed to the achievement of this achievement either by the implementing company or by the members of the teaching and administrative bodies at the university, which ended by linking the project to the national network, with the actual production of electricity.

"The University of Mu'tah was keen to implement the project of producing electricity from solar energy in an effort to develop its various capabilities, especially in the field of solar energy production." Pointing out that the project is one of the most important achievements of the university, stressing that this project will cover about 80 percent of the university's needs of electric power. Al-Saraira said that the university is seeking to achieve 100 percent of the university's energy needs through the implementation of other energy management projects, which will contribute to reducing the financial burden and expenses in the energy service of the university.

Dr. Sarayra pointed out that the project will provide financial expenses estimated at two million dinars annually, stressing that reducing this financial cost to the university is in itself a qualitative achievement, considering that the methodology of alternative solutions with future visions, is the best way to overcome the financial difficulties facing the university.

He stressed that this achievement, which will have a significant positive role in reducing the annual energy bill, is the biggest proof that the university has academic and cognitive qualifications capable of making a difference and improve its march to serve the beloved country and its future generations. He pointed out that this great achievement is in line with the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II Hussein University, to be an incubator for creativity and supportive of creators, which contributes to the development of scientific outputs and achieve its objectives efficiently
