Enhancing economic relations between Jordan and Kazakhstan Other Services

Amman - The Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of Jordan, Alain Al-Kabariti and the Ambassador of Jordan in Kazakhstan, Yousuf Abdul Ghani, discussed yesterday at the Chamber's headquarters the promotion and revitalization of the Kingdom's economic relations with Kazakhstan.

Al-Kabariti stressed that Jordan and Kazakhstan have a special friendship relationship, calling for action and cooperation at the public and private sectors to study the challenges and problems hindering economic cooperation and solving them to enhance trade exchange and establish joint projects.

Al-Kabariti pointed out that the two countries have opportunities, which should be used to further strengthen economic cooperation. However, the absence of regular and connected transport lines between the two countries limits this, especially in terms of increasing trade exchange. Both sides intensify their efforts to find new solutions. Increased flow of products and services in both directions.

He stressed the support of joint investment between the two sides, especially in the sectors of agriculture, medicine and food, which have been identified as the main sectors of cooperation between the two sides. There are several commodities that can be exported from Jordan as medicines; for easy storage during transportation, in addition to vegetables and fruits, .

For his part, Abdul Ghani pointed out that Kazakhstan sees Jordan as an important partner with great political weight on the international scene and that the diplomatic relations between the two countries are witnessing a new historic breakthrough.

He expressed his readiness to exert efforts to explore further potential cooperation between the two countries, activate the movement of tourist delegations and organize a visit to the delegation of Jordan to Kazakhstan to encourage investment and trade exchange between the two countries.
