dubai — Dar Al Ber Society has funded 34 humanitarian projects in the East Darfur in Sudan for the benefit of indigent people.

A delegation of the association paid a visit to the Sudanese state to attend the inauguration of key projects following an invitation from the State Governor Anas Omar Mohammed.

Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, executive director of Dar Al Ber Society, said they funded the construction of 34 mosques. “Up to 1,000 cattle and 60 booths were contributed to poor families.”

All the charity projects funded by society have been carried out by the Al Ihsan Charity Organisation, the society’s strategic partner in East Darfur.

“The delegation visited the beneficiary families to identify their needs and those of the entire state, spanning health centres, mosques, water wells, classrooms, and Quran study centres.”
