Minister of Water and Irrigation Eng. Raed Abu Al-Saud signed in the presence of the Secretary General of the Water Authority, Iyad Al-Dahyat, and officials of the Water Authority yesterday, agreements to implement water and sanitation projects, including improving water supply systems and serving new sewage areas in Ma'an, Jerash and Karak governorates. Amounting to 867 thousand dinars, with self-financing from the Authority.

Abu Al-Saud said that these agreements include the central tender project for the sewerage conveyor line in Wadi Al-Sadr / Wadi Mousa-Maan, worth 622 thousand dinars, as the work will start next week to implement this line and in more than 3 months, Target areas, and find a radical solution to the line.

In Jerash, the project will replace the water network in the town of Kufair at a cost of 230 thousand Jordanian dinars, which will improve the water supply to the people of the region, which has experienced disruptions and poor water delivery to them, and serve new communities in Kefir water services to be ready before the summer.

The minister pointed out that there are plans to implement projects before the beginning of next summer, which is reflected in the treatment of all hot spots, and improving the access of water to citizens to develop and rehabilitate water systems, to reduce the losses and improve the efficiency of supply, and access to sufficient quantities of citizens.

In Karak, a small project at a cost of 15,000 to serve new real estate will be implemented with sanitation services in the city. The project will be implemented by a contractor in a short time.
