A project to build a high school of 1000 educational places, including 300 half-boarders, has been granted to the commune of Idjeur for 2 years, is blocked because of the position of the property tax base in the forestry sector. Forest officials are opposed to the implementation of this project without the PCA having previously initiated a decommissioning procedure to enable the municipality to carry out its project.

The former leaders of the APC had chosen a site located in the locality "Bouadhga", which belongs to the commune of Idjeur, for the construction of the school and many other projects of general interest, but they did not know if this property base depended of the commune, Domains or forests. Idjeur's APC president, Hadji Djamel, whom we contacted, informed us that he had submitted a regularization file to the former wali of Tizi Ouzou, who reassured him to take the necessary steps to unblock the situation. The regularization file should be transferred to the Ministry of Agriculture for approval. As a reminder, the commune of Idjeur benefited in 2016 from a high school project with a program authorization of 33 billion centimes. Due to the delay, a reassessment is deemed necessary to align the budget envelope with new prices for building materials. The decommissioning of this area of more than 6 ha will allow the APC to relaunch many blocked projects, such as the high school, 93 social housing, the headquarters of the CPA, the communal library and the gendarmerie brigade. While waiting for the realization of this high school, the students of Idjeur must join every morning the two schools of Bouzeguène, about ten kilometers from their villages.
