The resources set in motion by the Inail to increase the security of companies are growing. While the controversy of the trade unions on cuts that the government could include in the Budget law, on the chapter of structural resources allocated to the Institute to finance investment projects in training and security, the latter presented yesterday the flamboyant announcement ISI 2018 that can count on almost 370 million grants, already budgeted, against the scarce 250 of the previous edition. The contribution will be disbursed in capital account and can cover up to 65% of the expenses incurred for each project admitted. This is the largest allocation made in the nine editions of the initiative, which since 2010 has made more than 2 billion grants available to companies. According to the president of INAIL, Massimo De Felice, "the Isi call for proposals is now a unique national initiative for the granting of capital grants, which is unparalleled even in Europe". The considerable increase "of the funds made available - underlined in turn the general manager Giuseppe Lucibello, will allow to support even more companies, with positive effects on the safety of workers and, consequently, also on the welfare system and society". Compared to the previous tender, ISI 2018 presents some innovations in terms of funding axes, characterized by resources allocated in regional budgets. The Axis 1 (Isi Generalista), in particular, in addition to bringing from 100 to 182 million the treasury available to businesses, clearly divides the cake between the investment projects, which amount to 180 million, and the adoption projects of organizational models and social responsibility, to which the remaining 2 belong. To the Axis 2 (Isi Tematica) there are 45 million for projects to reduce the risk of manual handling of loads (last year they were 44.4), while for Axis 3 (Isi Amianto), destined for reclamation projects, is 97.4 million against 60 in 2017. Another novelty: Axis 4 recipients change (Isi Micro and small businesses): 10 million in budget, previously intended for the wood and ceramics sectors, this time they will go to projects for micro and small businesses operating in the fishing and textile, clothing, leather and footwear sectors. The allocations for Axis 5 (Isi Agricoltura) are also unchanged: 35 million for projects of micro and small enterprises operating in the sector of primary agricultural production of agricultural products, of which 30 for the generality of agricultural enterprises and 5 for young farmers ( under 40), also organized in company form. As for the previous calls, once again the requests for access to the incentives will be presented in electronic form, with a three-step evaluation procedure at the counter with the "click day" scheduled for June.
